Dreamers & Doers Creativity UnCamp for Jewish Girls
Is your daughter bored?
Underchallenged?
Too much screen time?
School was unfulfilling. Camp is cancelled. Now what?
Passion Projects!
WHAT IS THE DREAMERS & DOERS CREATIVITY UNCAMP?
This is a unique experience for girls who are especially creative, gifted, and sensitive to their own rich, inner landscape of exciting dreams, passions, and ideas. Based on Project-Based Learning and Jewish Design Thinking, each girl will launch and be guided in creating whatever her heart desires. She will learn how to put wings and feet on her dreams, and a Torah foundation under her castles in the air, as she uses her talents to develop her middos and serve her family, community and the world!
WHO IS THIS FOR?
-have a rich inner life but not enough people to share it with
-like to think and dream about all kinds of things. Big things.
-are bored in regular classes but love to be off doing their own creative things
-prefer and thrive in smaller groups or on their own
-don't like to join groups so much because they treasure their individuality
-would rather be reading a book. Or writing one
-like to do their own thing
-drive you crazy inventing things or taking them apart
-love to create - but not what everybody else is making
-like to be in charge of things (this sometimes looks like bossiness)
-are out-of-the box kids
-are gifted intellectually or creatively
-are more introverted, prefer small groups and one-to-one social interaction
-interested in a million things!
WHAT WILL WE DO?
Creativity UnCamp is unique in that we start each session with the wishes, interests, dreams, and passions of each girl in the moment. We find and learn the connection to Torah and mitzvahs. Then we choose collaborative or individual projects to work on, research, and create.
The synergy between the girls lifts everyone higher and farther, even if they are working on individual projects. We teach each other about the tools and apps we use, and help each other develop our prototype products, services, and arts. We provide an appreciative audience for our successes, and a nurturing cohort to learn and grow from our failures and mistakes.

HOW DOES IT WORK?
We will meet weekly for one hour on Zoom in small multi-age "bunks" to launch, develop and share our projects. In between, we'll stay in touch through whatever app we mutually agree upon. The girls may also email me with questions and share work-in-progress through the app we choose. This might be a Google slide show, Book Creator, Padlet or other app.
How can one hour a week be enough?
With G-d's help, in this one hour your daughter will get in touch with her passions. We'll help her explore and develop them. Then she will be eager to work on her passion project throughout the week, perhaps even throughout the year. Some of my students have worked on team projects over 3 years - and they only had 30 minutes a week of direct guidance!
Her passionate creativity will help her find her flow state where she can find her true self and her mission. This will help her unlock her deepest passions and gifts and help her connect more deeply to Hashem.
Her self-esteem will grow and her inner joy will glow and spill out into the family and the world. I've seen it happen many times.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
It's VERY affordable.
